Meet the Team: Mark Prosser, New H&S Auditor

Updated: Aug 1

From recent post-pandemic reflection, we all know the power of human connection and the strength of building long-lasting relationships; so, over the next couple of months, we thought we'd feature some of our key members of staff who each help KVF clients to manage Health & Safety across the UK.

As a team of Advisors with a variety of specialist areas of expertise, KVF offer best practice advice that encompasses legal & moral obligations with the added benefit of our years of experience across a diverse field.

As a small but growing business, the individuals who contribute to the work we do are heavily valued by our management and clients alike, so we hope you enjoy getting to know a little more about them. First up, is our newest member of staff, Mark, who we asked to give a brief insight into his career history so far.

Mark Prosser (South UK)

"I’m an army veteran having served 12 years in the Royal Artillery, joining straight from school, and completing two campaigns, the first Gulf War and Bosnia.

Upon re-joining civvy street I moved back to my hometown of Hereford before resettling to Dorset.

Since then, I have - in the main - worked in the motor trade as a Service Advisor / Aftersales Manager. It is during my last employment with a local motor trade Group that I became responsible for overseeing the Health and Safety for all of their sites and this is where my keen interest in Health & Safety began.

In July of this year, I was fortunate to join KVF as their Health & Safety Auditor, currently finishing off my NEBOSH exams to enable me to provide additional support to our customers as a Health & Safety Advisor. I am excited to have joined the KVF team and am looking forward to a bright future with them.

I am married to Jan and we live in Poole with our two dogs. I enjoy all sports, including football & rugby, mainly just watching it nowadays unfortunately. I am also a member of the Dolphin indoor bowls club in Poole."

KVF is delighted to have such an experienced Motor Trade professional join the team and we can already see the benefit of Mark investing in his professional development and positively influencing H&S Management within the sites he has visited so far. Keep an eye out for him and please feel free to ask any questions you think Mark can assist you with.

Stay safe, stay positive and please remember that KVF are here to assist you.
